Event Description
About This Workshop
This advanced workshop focuses on pleating as structure, not surface decoration.
Using an original, fully developed pattern with tested samples, students will learn how pleats can provide strength, flexibility, and architectural form in functional bags.
The finished tote is designed to carry a 16-inch laptop and iPad, combining sculptural design with real-world use.
This course includes hands-on training with industrial heat-press pleating, a technique rarely taught outside professional studios.
