Frequently Asked Questions

  • Start with Intro to Designer Sewing: Machine Basics. It’s designed for absolute beginners and will prepare you for all other workshops.

  • No. We provide machines and basic tools in the studio. If you have a home machine and want to understand it better, you’re welcome to bring photos or ask questions.

  • Fabric for the tote bag and class samples is included. For alteration/upcycle classes, please bring 2–3 garments you’d like to work on.

  • We keep workshops small so everyone gets hands-on help—usually 4–8 students per class.
